This map shows locations for upcoming railroad crossing repairs.
Pinellas County Department of Environment and Infrastructure and CSXT Railroad are beginning a project to improve railroad crossings on Belleair Road and Wyatt Street between Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue and Clearwater Largo Road.
The project will take place in two phases with anticipated construction detours taking place:
• Belleair Road from South Myrtle Avenue to Scranton Avenue to begin Friday, Feb. 15, through Thursday, Feb. 21.
• Wyatt Street from Clearwater Largo Road to South Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue to begin Friday, March 1, through Thursday, March 7.
The project will replace the existing crossings with a reinforced structure and new rails to provide an improved lifespan and to construct ADA compliant sidewalks. Roadway resurfacing will finish the job at both locations.
