Obituary: Mary E. Kimura

ST. PETERSBURG – Mary E. (Nana) Kimura, 79, of St. Petersburg, died Friday, Feb. 16, 2007, at Largo Health Care Center.

She was a native of St. Petersburg and a homemaker. She was a member of Central Christian Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda Kimura-Dominick, St. Petersburg; a son, Herbert Thomas Kimura, Seminole; four brothers, Frank Ownbey, Floral City; Buck Ownbey, Idaho; Richard Ownbey, Pinellas Park, and Sherman Ownbey, Tennessee; four sisters, Margaret Hall, Bronson; Peggy Parish, Oklahoma; Donna Fields, St. Petersburg, and Gail Jones, Alabama; four grandchildren, Jerry L. Babcock Jr., Patricia Kimura Boyd, Michelle Babcock Young, and Herbert T. Kimura Jr.; and two great-grandchildren, Jerry L. Babcock III and Samantha Boyd.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 24, at 11 a.m. at Brett Funeral Home and Cremation Services, St. Petersburg.
