Pinellas County is extending the deadline to submit applications for funding through the county’s Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnership and Emergency Solutions Grant programs.
Applications are due to the Community Development department, 600 Cleveland St., Suite 800, Clearwater, FL 33755 no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, March 8.
Applications will be accepted for public facility and improvement activities in special districts, for serving low-to moderate-income or special needs populations including the homeless and for public infrastructure projects in special districts.
Priority will be given to capital projects that serve youth aging out of foster care, homeless families and housing for veterans.
Applications for affordable housing development activities may be submitted at any time during the year. Housing development activities include the preservation and/or production of affordable rental housing developments, mixed income rental developments and housing development for homebuyers.
