• In-person and drop-box payments: Due by 5 p.m. on Monday, March 31, 2014
Payments received after the respective deadlines will be considered delinquent and will begin to accrue interest at 3 percent.
For convenience, the tax collector’s office encourages taxpayers to pay online at www.taxcollect.com, where payments can be made through an electronic check feature that securely transfers funds directly from a bank account. Credit card payments are also accepted online.
The 2013 tax roll included 410,081 tax bills that were mailed to Pinellas County property owners at the end of October in 2013. The tax collector’s office sent reminder notices to owners with unpaid bills at the beginning of March 2014.
