More reclaimed water retrictions announced for north county
Article published on Wednesday, May 17, 2006
PINELLAS COUNTY – Due to the lack of seasonal rain fall and exceedingly high demands, the reclaimed water storage pond at the W.E. Dunn Water Reclamation Facility remains at a critically low level.

Because of the low levels, officials announced that is necessary to shut down the reclaimed water system an additional day.

Beginning Friday, May 19, the Pinellas County North County reclaimed water will not be available for irrigation purposes on Monday, Tuesday and Friday until further notice.

On the days when the reclaimed water system is active, customers are urged to refrain from irrigating between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., which is the hottest part of the day when evaporation rates are highest.

Call the reclaimed water hot line at 464-4273.
