INDIAN ROCKS BEACH – The fifth annual flag retirement ceremony will take place on Flag Day, Wednesday, June 14, noon, at Chic-A-Si Park.

This ceremony is a joint effort by the city of Indian Rocks Beach, the Clearwater Chapter of MOAA and VFW Post 10094. Mayor Bill Ockunzzi will lead the ceremony. Following a demonstration of how the flags are retired, hot dogs and soft drinks will be served.

Chic-A-Si Park is at Fourth Avenue and Second Street near Crabby Bills. Call Maj. “Skip” Hartnett at 733-8646 or Jim Ford at 595-4260.
