Operation PAR honors donors, volunteers at annual breakfast

CLEARWATER – Generous donors and volunteers were honored and special awards were presented at Operation PAR’s, Annual Appreciation Breakfast on April 25 at Feather Sound Country Club. PAR represents Parental Awareness and Responsibility.
• Faith Based Team Award – Church By The Sea
• Helping Hands Award – Leanne Lake
• Community Humanitarian Award – Dr. Scott Webb
• Volunteer of the Year – Anna Gomillion
• Work Team Award – Cardinal Health Care
• Shirley D. Coletti Community Partner Award – The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Department
• Corporate Partner Award – Bright House Networks
• Spirit Awards – Beth Cole and Sally Watson
• Teen Volunteer of the Year – Kevin Pilsbury
The theme this year was “Hand and Hand, together we can.”
Operation PAR (Parental Awareness and Responsibility), serves four counties and began in 1970 in the way many effective programs do – a parent concerned about her daughter’s drug use took action.
