Alex Mocz Alex Mocz, 90, of St. Petersburg, and formerly of Seminole, passed away June 4, 2008, after a year of illness. He was born August 17, 1917.
Mr. Mocz served in the U.S. Army during World War II; retired from Caterpillar Corp. in 1977 and moved to Florida from his native Cleveland, Ohio. He was baptist.
Mr. Mocz is survived by his wife, Maria Lukacs; two sisters, Marguerite Tarczy, of Willoughby, Ohio, and Ester Botts, of Wickliffe, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., FL 33760. A private service was held.
Arrangements were handled by Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home, 7950 131st St. North, Seminole, 727-391-0121.
Adele “Del” Ryan Parsons Adele “Del” Ryan Parsons, 86, passed away Friday, June 6, 2008. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, and moved to Florida in 1976 from Moorestown, NJ.
She worked in retail for many years with both Gimbels and McCrory's.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hall Parsons, Jr. in 1971 and then her longtime companion, Jay Williams in 1999.
She is survived by her four sons, John Hall III, Edmund T., Joseph “J.P.” and Timothy; her five daughters, Catherine Edwards, Caroline Kane, Patricia Kinneer, Bernadette Poorman and Ann Marie Brown; her sister Frances Milsop; several nieces, nephews and cousins; 29 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Loyless Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
