Bedinghaus declares candidacy

ST. PETERSBURG – Attorney Susan Bedinghaus announced her candidacy for Pinellas County Judge, Group 17.
Bedinghaus has been an assistant attorney general, in the Child Support Enforcement Division, since 2003.
Prior to joining the staff of Attorney General Charlie Crist, she was a prosecutor in the Pinellas-Pasco State Attorney’s office for five years. In this position she managed a high volume caseload and practiced in felony, misdemeanor, juvenile, domestic battery, Baker Act and child abuse areas. She also practiced civil law as a sole practitioner at Susan P. Bedinghaus, P.A.
A graduate of the Stetson University College of Law and the University of Florida (with honors), Bedinghaus was appointed three times by Gov. Jeb Bush to the Sixth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission where she served one year as chair.
She lives in St. Petersburg with her husband, Paul, and their three children.
