Pinellas County government offices will be closed on Friday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.
The courts of the Sixth Judicial Circuit (Pinellas and Pasco) will not be in session except for first-appearance advisory hearings and emergency situations.
The Solid Waste Administration Building and HEC3 will be closed. The scalehouse/landfill will be open from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
All county parks and preserves and the Florida Botanical Gardens will remain open.
The Environmental Education Center at Brooker Creek Preserve, the Cultural and Natural History Center at Weedon Island Preserve and Heritage Village will be closed.
Annual beach and boat ramp parking permits will not be available for sale as the administrative offices of Parks and Conservation Resources will be closed.
The offices and adoption center at Pinellas County Animal Services will be closed.
Animal Services, the HEC3, the Environmental Education Center at Brooker Creek Preserve, the Cultural and Natural History Center at Weedon Island Preserve and Heritage Village will re-open for normal hours on Saturday, July 5.
All other Pinellas County facilities will resume regular hours of operation on Monday, July 7.
The Department of Health in Pinellas County also will be closed July 4.
