TAMPA - September is renewal month for all Pinellas Bayway Commuter Pass transponders.
The $50 yearly Commuter Pass transponder, which allows two-axle vehicles unlimited passage through all three Pinellas Bayway toll plazas without stopping, expires every year on Sept. 30, regardless of date of purchase. Bayway Commuter Pass customers are not eligible for other SunPass discounted toll rates.
During September, Commuter Pass holders who use the three Pinellas Bayway toll plazas should take advantage of three renewal options:
• You may renew your existing Commuter Pass online at www.sunpass.com with either your account number, user name, or transponder number along with your Personal Identification Number (PIN). You may also sign up for the Automatic Renewal feature, which will alleviate the need for you to manually renew your pass each year.
• Call the SunPass toll-free customer service number, at 1-888-TOLL-FLA (1-888-865-5352) to renew by telephone between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. Customers will need the transponder number, which is located on the back of the transponder, and a major credit card.
• Visit the Pinellas Bayway SunPass Customer Service Center in person, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday through Friday. The Customer Service Center is located at 4501 54th Avenue South, St. Petersburg at the rear of the toll plaza building.
