LARGO - Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections Deborah Clark announces a new video is available online to provide an overview of the historic redistricting process in Pinellas County.
The video, produced by the Pinellas County Communications Department, provides an overview of the redistricting process and the impact it had on voters and the election process.
With the Presidential General Election right around the corner, Clark recommends that voters be “Election Ready” by reviewing the video and verifying the information on their voter information card is current. For example, voters’ residential addresses determine voting districts, precinct numbers and polling place information.
Voters who need to make name, address or signature updates, or to confirm they are using their most current voter information card mailed by the Elections Office, can call 464-VOTE (8683) or visit www.votepinellas.com for more information.
Clark also encourages voters to use the convenience of voting by mail.
“The general election ballot is four pages long, with 11 constitutional amendments. Request a mail ballot, so you can take your time and vote in the comfort of your home,” Clark said.
