Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections Deborah Clark announced that ballot mailings for the Nov. 5 Municipal Elections are tentatively scheduled for registered voters residing in the municipalities of Belleair Beach, Clearwater, Kenneth City and St. Petersburg.
Voter registration deadline for these elections is Oct. 7. No early voting is scheduled for any of these elections.
Ballots for absent military and overseas voters were scheduled for mailing on Sept. 20. Clark’s office plans to begin mailing out ballots to domestic voters by Oct. 1. State law requires ballots be mailed to military and overseas voters at least 45 days prior to an election and 35 days and 28 days prior to the election for domestic voters.
Belleair Beach’s referendum election will be conducted by mail ballot only. All registered voters in Belleair Beach will be mailed a ballot. Voters also can pick up a ballot and vote in person at any Supervisor of Elections office beginning Sept. 20.
Mail ballots to military and overseas voters eligible to vote in the Belleair Beach election will go out Sept. 20. Domestic ballots will be mailed out beginning Oct. 16, 20 days prior to the election as required by state law.
Mail ballots for all elections must be received in a Supervisor of Elections office by 7 p.m. Nov. 5.
