LARGO - The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office announced the graduation of Capt. Jim Main and Lt. Michael Holbrook Oct. 10 from the Senior Leadership Program at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement headquarters in Tallahassee.
The graduating class includes 35 senior managers representing criminal justice agencies from around the state. The goal of the Senior Leadership Program is to help graduates continue to develop their leadership skills and to prepare Florida’s criminal justice professionals for future challenges.
The Florida Criminal Justice Executive Institute, established within the FDLE and affiliated with the State University System, was established in 1990 by the Florida Legislature in recognition of the need for an innovative and multifaceted approach to the education and training of criminal justice professionals.
Main has been employed with PCSO since June 1988 and Holbrook since July 1987.
