County seeks storm survivors

PINELLAS COUNTY - Project Storm Story is looking for people who have firsthand experience with any of the hurricanes who made landfall throughout the Atlantic basin to include in a catalog of memories of hurricane survivors.

Knowing that experience is the best teacher, emergency managers want to get personal accounts to use in future hurricane educational materials. Individuals submitting their stories must include: name; phone number and address; year and name of the storm; where they were during the storm; and a brief account of what happened. Photos are welcome.
