The Tampa Bay Rays Mascot, Raymond, visits www.pinellaseducation.org to vote for his Favorite Educator.
LARGO – Pinellas County residents are invited to vote online for their favorite Outstanding Educator of the Year Finalist by visiting www.pinellaseducation.org.
In an effort to spotlight the excellence of Pinellas County Schools’ six 2013 Outstanding Educator of the Year Finalists, the Pinellas Education Foundation with the support of the Tampa Bay Rays has featured each finalist on its website. To vote, participants must have a valid e-mail address.
The winner of “Fan Favorite” along with the announcement of the 2013 Outstanding Educator of the Year, Business Partners of the Year and Unsung Hero will be revealed at the 2013 Evening of Excellence, presented by Ditek, Humana, Bright House Networks and the Tampa Bay Rays at Ruth Eckerd Hall on Feb. 25, 2013.
The teacher voted “Fan Favorite” will receive, among other prizes, the opportunity to throw the first pitch at an upcoming Tampa Bay Rays game and host family and friends in a suite.
The Pinellas County Schools’ Outstanding Educator of the Year Finalists are:
• Jennifer Anderson, East Lake High School – sponsored by Ajax Building Corporation
• Becky Bride, Palm Harbor University – sponsored by Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union
• Krista Kelleher, Sawgrass Lake Elementary – sponsored by Horace Mann Insurance
• Jennifer Klimis, Tarpon Springs Fundamental Elementary – sponsored by NOVA Southeastern University
• Jean Wark, Perkin Elementary – sponsored by Catalina Marketing Charitable Foundation
