DUNEDIN - Several students were recognized in “Creative Start!” the Dunedin Fine Art Center’s K-5 Pinellas County art showcase.
Judges Anne Feldshue and Catherine Bergman chose Rachel Culp’s “Van Gogh Sunflowers,” Faith Jones’ “Pumpkin Patch Perspective,” and Phoebe Roess Studniarz’s “Reflections of Me” to receive artistic merit awards.
Honorable mentions were given to James Cox for “The Zigzag Fish,” Alyster Fletcher for “Future Water Car” and Allison Tuskan for “Modigliani-Style Portrait.”
The exhibition, which runs through Feb. 17 in the Kokolakis Family Garden at the art center, features 73 works from 26 public elementary schools in the county.
