INDIAN ROCKS BEACH – Church of the Isles Community Christian School hosts its seventh annual GreenFest, at 24th Avenue and First Street, Saturday, March 8, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event is free.
GreenFest is a celebration of local foods, eco-friendly products, and nonprofit organizations dedicated to preserving our environment. The GreenFest is COTI’s annual fundraiser event and signature environmental celebration for the entire community.
“COTI prides itself on teaching our students from age 2 to fifth grade about caring for the Earth and this event extends that message to the entire community,” said Amber Phillips, director of preschool.
The festival features live music, a bounce house and children’s area and more than 80 vendors including many local artists, great food, beer and wine. This year’s sponsors are Plumlee Gulf Beach Realty, Crabby Bill’s Seafood, CYMplify, Crunchy Mama and the Beach Bee. All proceeds from this event benefit the COTI Community Christian School, a ministry of the Church of the Isles.
Event planners are looking for new vendors to participate in this popular event this year. Please contact Christy Ward for vendor information and deadlines.
