As a senior prank, students built banks of snow at the entrance to the Largo High School teacher parking lot off Missouri Avenue April 2.
LARGO – Teachers at Largo High School encountered an unexpected – and defiantly frozen – surprise when they arrived at work the morning of April 2.
The school’s seniors had built banks of snow near the entrance to the teacher parking lot off Missouri Avenue.
“Teachers who came from the north really appreciated the prank as it reminded them of all the snow they miss shoveling each day – especially this blizzard-bound winter,” explained Deb Howard, secretary of the school’s ExCEL magnet program. “It was great because it didn’t accidentally cause any damage and would dissolve before our school day ended.”
The snow was packed to allow entry into the parking lot. A local skating rink is rumored to have helped the seniors.
“It was a great prank and next year’s seniors have a high bench mark to surpass,” Howard said.
