Voluntary Pre-kindergarten registration is currently available at select Pinellas County Schools.
There’s still time for families to register their child for Voluntary Pre-kindergarten (VPK) at select Pinellas County Schools for the 2014-15 school year. Families with a child who is 4-years-old on or before Sept. 1, 2014, will need to make sure they have their VPK voucher before registering for VPK at a PCS school.
To apply for a VPK Voucher, call the Early Learning Coalition at 400-4411 or visit www.elcpinellas.net to submit an online application.
To register for VPK, parents can call 588-6513 or visit Pinellas County Schools Administration Building, Early Childhood Office, 301 Fourth St. SW, Largo, during business hours.
For registration, bring a Certificate of Eligibility (voucher) and the following documents:
• Birth certificate/proof of child’s age
• Florida Certificate of Immunization (DH Form 680)
• Physical examination certificate signed by a licensed examiner
• Proof of Florida residency
