LARGO – Christian International School of Healthcare Professions, a provider of practical nursing diploma and registered nursing associate and bachelor degree programs in Pinellas County, recently announced a name change to Christian International College.
“These are very exciting times on the Christian International campus,” said college administrator Carolyn Farrell in a press release. “Our progress has been very rapid since we first opened our doors to students in February 2011. In order to qualify as a college, an institution must offer more degree programs than diploma programs and have a greater number of enrolled students seeking degrees.”
CIC is a Christian College whose sole area of study is nursing. It is this very combination that makes the college such a unique institution in the Tampa Bay area. The faculty is committed to delivering nursing education with a holistic approach to patient centered care.
The goal at CIC is always to soundly equip students so they are able to minister to a patient’s spiritual and emotional needs, in addition to providing nursing care.
