Dr. Ron Stone, retired associate superintendent for human resources for the Pinellas County School District, recently released “Touch Just One Life,” a book of poetry.
SEMINOLE – Dr. Ron Stone, retired associate superintendent for human resources for the Pinellas County School District, has authored a new book entitled “Touch Just One Life.”
Stone, who is a long time Seminole resident, served in public education for 40 years and released the book as a tribute to those who work in education and who have committed their careers to making a difference in the lives of the students and families they have served. The book is a compilation of poems regarding various aspects of education based on the life experiences of the author.
According to the publisher, Createspace.com: “America's heroes are in our classrooms and schools. ‘Touch Just One Life’ is a testimonial to the men and women who work each day with the students and families in schools throughout our nation. It is a tribute to their dedication and commitment to helping children achieve success in a dynamically changing society.”
Stone grew up in Seminole, living in the city since 1958. He attended Seminole Elementary School and Madeira Beach Junior High School before graduating from Seminole High School in 1968.
