Seminole teacher Kristi Bulluck is a new inductee into the Delta Epsilon Iota Academic Honor Society.
SEMINOLE – The Delta Epsilon Iota Academic Honor Society inducted Kristi Bulluck into their local chapter at the University of South Florida on October 13.
Delta Epsilon Iota was established to recognize and encourage academic excellence in all fields of study. Students qualify on the basis of academic achievement. Prospective members must have completed a minimum of 30 semester hours at an accredited college or university, while maintaining a 3.5 cumulative grade-point average or a scholastic ranking within the top 15 percent of their class.
Bulluck is getting her Ph.D. in adult education with an emphasis in curriculum and instruction. She will graduate in December 2014. This past year, Bulluck took a professional leave from Seminole Elementary to pursue her degree. Prior to that, Bulluck taught kindergarten, first and second grades at Seminole Elementary for the past seven years.
Bulluck plans on becoming a professor and teaching college students going into elementary education.
