LARGO – The Pinellas Education Foundation is presenting two events at Tropicana Field that will help more Pinellas students in need receive a scholarship for college or technical school.
On Dec. 7, glitz and glam meet fun and games at the first Ties and Tennis Shoes gala. Attendees are asked to wear their favorite cocktail attire but finish their look with sneakers. This whimsical experience under the dome of Tropicana Field will feature interactive sporting stations hosted by celebrities and professional players, a concert by Marty Balin of Jefferson Airplane and Jefferson Starship fame, a silent auction, food and other unique elements that will delight all attendees.
General Admission tickets are only $35 (includes food and beverage with a cash bar available) with entrance to the event at 7 p.m. VIP Tickets are $125 (includes food, beverage, domestic beer and wine and $25 silent auction voucher) with entrance to the event at 6 p.m.
Companies are also encouraged to hold their holiday parties at the event. Special package pricing is available by calling 727-588-4816.
