The Beach Beacon is expanding its circulation area this week to include St. Pete Beach, Gulfport, South Pasadena, Tierra Verde and Pass-A-Grille.
“Improving our news coverage and expanding our delivery area into the southern beach communities are both long overdue for the Beach Beacon,” Tampa Bay Newspapers Publisher Dan Autrey said. “Combined with our Bee newspaper, there are simply no other publications that cover the dynamic beach communities, from Clearwater Beach to Tierra Verde, like Tampa Bay Newspapers.”
The newspaper will be available in hundreds of additional indoor and outdoor racks throughout the area.
Tampa Bay Newspapers’ weekly publications include the Beach, Seminole and Clearwater Beacons, the Largo Leader and Belleair and Beach Bees. It also publishes three monthlies, the Dunedin Beacon, Palm Harbor Beacon and Pinellas Park Beacon.
The total circulation of TBN’s publications is more than 166,000.
The expansion also affects the publication schedule. As of this week, content for the Beach Beacon won’t be available for the website staff until Wednesday.
