TREASURE ISLAND – Work has started on the city of Treasure Island’s wastewater lift station No. 3, located at 99th Avenue and First Street East.
C&S Companies will be rehabilitating the lift station and reworking force mains that are located under the street at this location. The work is expected to take about four weeks to complete.
C&S has made contact with most of the residents affected by the work. The project is a part of the city’s ongoing effort to upgrade its aged wastewater infrastructure.
The area was under construction last year to correct storm water drainage issues that plagued the area of First Street East from 98th Avenue and east on 99th Avenue.
