ST. PETERSBURG - Crewmembers from Coast Guard Air Station in Clearwater medically evacuated a 56-year-old man from a boat 60 miles west of Johns Pass about 11 a.m. Sunday, March 7.
Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector St. Petersburg received a call from a 28-foot boat at about 10:10 a.m. reporting that Larry Foreman, 56, was experiencing chest pains.
A Coast Guard Air Station MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew was immediately launched to evacuate Foreman, and he was taken to Tampa General Hospital, in Tampa.
