TREASURE ISLAND - As part of the city of Treasure Island bridge replacement project in Isle of Capri, temporary reclaimed water shutdowns will continue during construction activity through Friday, March 15.
Reclaimed water valves that supply the island will be temporarily turned off during daytime construction activity. Presuming no damage occurs, the reclaimed water lines will be activated daily from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m., so residents can water lawns according to the current schedule.
Customers should follow the watering schedule shown below. Watering three days a week or less promotes a healthy, drought-tolerant lawn with deep roots.
Addresses ending in an even number (0, 2, 4, 6 or 8) can water on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Addresses ending in an odd number (1, 3, 5, 7 or 9) can water Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
Residences with mixed or no addresses also can water on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
