TREASURE ISLAND - Due to unexpected soil strata encountered by the contractor on the city of Treasure Island bridge replacement project in Isle of Capri, temporary reclaimed water shutdowns will continue during daytime construction activity through Friday, March 22.
Reclaimed water valves that supply the island will be temporarily turned off during daytime construction activity. Presuming no damage occurs due to the construction, the reclaimed water lines will be activated from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. daily so residents can water lawns, according to the current schedule.
Customers should follow the watering schedule shown below. Watering three days a week or less promotes a healthy, drought-tolerant lawn with deep roots.
Residences with even number addresses, 0, 2, 4, 6 or 8 can water on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Residences with odd number addresses can water on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, as can residences with mixed or no address.
