Property association offers scholarships

REDINGTON BEACH – The Redington Beach Property Owners Association is offering two scholarships to graduating seniors who live in the town limits.
The scholarships will be in amounts of $2,000 and $1,000. All graduating high school seniors who live in Redington Beach are encouraged to submit entries.
To be considered for scholarships, the applicants must submit a 1,000-word essay entitled “Justify a Pro or Con Approach to Global Warming and Its Potential Effect on the Gulf Beaches.”
The essays will be judged on their creativity, logic of the writer and quality of writing. The deadline to summit essays is April 18.
The scholarships will be awarded at the RBPOA Potluck Dinner on April 24 at the Town assembly hall.
