Woman charged with battery on deputy

MADEIRA BEACH – A Clearwater woman was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer April 26 following an earlier incident at American Legion Post 273, 600 American Legion Drive.

According to a sheriff’s spokeswoman, Robin C. March, 40, bit a sheriff’s deputy after March and an unidentified man were caught having sex in a car at 6:40 p.m. on April 25 in the parking lot of the American Legion post.

According to a sheriff’s report, both were intoxicated.

March was booked into Pinellas County Jail and later released on a $1,000 bond.
