MADEIRA BEACH – Madeira Beach Middle School is hosting its annual curriculum celebration Thursday, May 8, 6 to 8 p.m. on the school campus.

The event, open to the public, showcases what students have done to learn about the marine environment.

Amenities will include a walk on the school’s dock and through a lagoon, a tour of the marine trail, a look at the underseas classroom and a fishing tournament.

Local vendors, such as the Surfrider Foundation, the Science Center of Pinellas County and USF’s College of Marine Science will have information booths.

Student work will be displayed throughout the campus and the school band and chorus will perform.

Call 547-7697.
