Gulf Beaches Public Library announces upcoming events

MADEIRA BEACH – The following activities are set in June at Gulf Beaches Public Library, 200 Municipal Drive, Madeira Beach.

Movies

- Film Movement, international award winning cinema. “Noise,” Tuesday, June 3, 5:30 p.m. Free refreshments.

- Travel Film. “New Zealand,” Wednesday, June 11, 2 p.m. Free refreshments.

Computer classes

(All classes free.)

- Introduction to the Internet: Friday, June 6, noon.

- Introduction to e-mail: Friday, June 13, noon.

- “Ask a Computer Expert.” Tom Mitchell fields your computer questions. Wednesday, June 18, noon.

Clubs

(All clubs are open to the public.)

- Great Books Discussion: “House with the Mezzanine” by Anton Chekhov, Saturday, June 14, 1 to 3 p.m.

- Book Group: “Run” by Ann Patchett, Tuesday, June 17, 10:30 a.m.

- Writer’s Group: Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to noon.

- Investment Club: Thursdays, 2:30 p.m.
