TREASURE ISLAND – The Isle of Palms Civic Association was recently honored for outstanding participation in the 18-hour Gulf Beaches Relay For Life event, which benefitted cancer research.
The Association’s team received a trophy and certificate for producing $7,340 in contributions.
As top team, it also received a certificate for outstanding achievement for silver sponsorship (over $5,000).
The civic association and Wingate & Associates Realtors were presented certificates for $250 donations to the event.
Ann Balisterri was the top producer in donations with $2,846, and Diane Rimkus was next top producer with over $1,500.
Palms resident John Gayton presented participants with special T-shirts for the event.
