Arrest made in stabbing REDINGTON BEACH – A Madeira Beach woman has been arrested in connection with a stabbing early June 24 in Redington Beach.
According to a sheriff’s report, Denise Petrovic, 38, was charged with aggravated battery, armed burglary and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Detectives said Petrovic entered a home in the 17300 block of Kennedy Drive shortly after 1 a.m. and attacked her estranged husband and a female guest. Both victims were treated and released from Bayfront Medical Center. Petrovic was arrested later the same morning at St. Petrersburg General Hospital where she was being treated for minor injuries.
Warrant check yields arrest TREASURE ISLAND – A call to the Middlegrounds Restaurant, 10925 Gulf Blvd., on June 22 resulted in the arrest of a woman wanted on an outstanding warrant. Treasure Island police responded to the restaurant at about 11:30 p.m. following a call that there was a suspicious black male walking behind the eatery.
Police found a 40-year-old man, address unknown, and Christine Roberta Cilley, 42, address unknown. A warrant check revealed Cilley was wanted for resisting arrest without violence. Cilley was transported to Pinellas County Jail.
Car burglarized at beach TREASURE ISLAND – A St. Petersburg man reported the theft of items totaling $814 from his car in a county parking lot on June 22. According to a police report, the victim’s 1992 Suburu was parked in a lot at 10400 Gulf Blvd. when the theft took place at about 5:50 p.m. Among the items taken were a Tom-tom portable GPS navigation system, a blue vinyl cooler and a pack of cigarettes.
Traffic stop results in arrest TREASURE ISLAND – A routine traffic stop on June 25 by Treasure Island police resulted in the arrest of a Madeira Beach woman on an outstanding warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia. According to a police report, Brandy Nicole Patterson, 33, of 15305 First St. E., No. C3, was arrested and transported to Pinellas County Jail.Patterson was the passenger in a car driven by Michael Glen Wright, 29, of Madeira Beach who was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign.
