TREASURE ISLAND – A 45-year-old Pinellas Park woman was arrested July 8 by Treasure Island police on an outstanding warrant for not having a license on her dog.
According to a police report, officers were searching for Kimberlee K. Lewen, after she failed to return the night before to a room, which she shared with her boyfriend, at the Tahitian Inn, 11275 Gulf Blvd.
Officers spotted Lewen walking on the sidewalk in front of the Tahitian about 7:40 a.m.
Lewen told officers she was drinking rum the night before, got intoxicated and woke up in a hotel room at the Satellite Motel, 11205 Gulf Blvd.
Lewen said the hotel room was unlocked and she thought it was same room she had checked into with her boyfriend.
Officers took Lewen to her room at the Tahitian Inn and reassured her boyfriend she was OK.
A routine check turned up the outstanding warrant on Lewen. She was taken to Pinellas County Jail where bond was set at $123.
