Thieves grab computer MADEIRA BEACH – Burglars broke into a home July 10 on 145th Avenue and stole a laptop computer, sheriff’s deputies said. The homeowner, a 43-year-old white male, returned home about 10:15 p.m. to find the front door of his home pried open and the computer missing. The investigation continues.
Malfunctioning car lights result in arrest TREASURE ISLAND – A Largo woman was arrested by Treasure Island police July 14 on an outstanding warrant for underage possession of alcohol from Monroe County. Alicia M. Gilmartin, 22, was pulled over for malfunctioning brake, tag and parking lights about 11:45 p.m. in the 12400 block of Gulf Boulevard. A routine records check revealed the warrant. She was transported to Pinellas County Jail where bond was set at $2,000.
Treasure Island women arrested TREASURE ISLAND – During the course of a fraud-forgery investigation by Treasure Island police July 17 at the Black Pearl Apartments, 11160 First St. E., two Treasure Island women were arrested on a pair of out-of-county warrants. Tara Lynn Jones, 31, was arrested on a Hillsborough County warrant for writing worthless checks and Lisa Renee Gearheart, 46, was arrested on a Hernando County warrant for driving on a suspended or revoked license. Both were transported to Pinellas County Jail.
Surfboard stolen TREASURE ISLAND – A 45-year-old Treasure Island man had a surfboard stolen from his pickup truck July 19 in the 10100 block of Yacht Club Drive. According to Treasure Island police, the blue, yellow and white surfboard, valued at $350, was taken about 10 p.m. from a 1977 Chevrolet pickup truck. The investigation continues.
Seminole man jailed on battery charge TREASURE ISLAND – A Seminole man was arrested for felony battery July 20 following an altercation at Caddy’s Waterfront, 9000 W. Gulf Blvd. According to a Treasure Island police report, Charles Warren Radebaugh, 40, struck a 46-year-old St. Petersburg man after the pair got into a disagreement over a parking space about 9:10 p.m. Due to a previous record, Radebaugh was charged with felony battery. He was transported to Pinellas County Jail where bond was set at $5,000.
