REDINGTON BEACH – An Ohio woman fell out of an electric vehicle, hit her head and died just before 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26.
According to a report from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, Patricia Taylor, 68, was traveling with her husband, Larry Taylor, 68, of Doylestown, Ohio southbound on Gulf Boulevard in a 2002 Gem electric road vehicle. As Larry made a left turn onto 162nd Avenue, Patricia fell out and hit her head. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Sheriff’s Major Accident Investigation Team reported that Mrs. Taylor was not wearing a seatbelt. It is unknown if alcohol was a factor.
Gulf Boulevard north and southbound was shut down from the time of the crash until about 10:30 p.m.
