Grand theft reported TREASURE ISLAND – Police are investigating the theft of a number of items from a home in the 200 block of 115th Avenue. According to a police report, the theft took place Nov. 8. Among the items taken were a Nintendo Wii game system, SONY digital camcorder, Giant men’s bicycle, and Jaguar women’s bicycle. Total value was $1,550.
TIPD compiles list of found items TREASURE ISLAND – Each week, the Treasure Island Police Department prepares a list of items found by officers or turned in by the public. The lost and found report is available at www.mytreasureisland.org and is usually updated Tuesday mornings. Residents who have lost an item and believe the property is on the list should call the Treasure Island Police Department at 547-4595, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and ask for Chas Donaldson.
Television set stolen TREASURE ISLAND – Police are investigating the theft of a 26-inch flat screen television from a room in the Bilmar Resort, 10650 Gulf Blvd. The theft took place Nov. 2 from Room 244. Value of the stolen property was set at $300.
