Grand theft reported TREASURE ISLAND – Police are investigating the theft of a number of items from a home in the 200 block of 115th Avenue. According to a police report, the theft took place Nov. 8. Among the items taken were a Nintendo Wii game system, SONY digital camcorder, Giant men’s bicycle, and Jaguar women’s bicycle. Total value was $1,550.

Residents who have lost an item and believe the property is on the list should call the Treasure Island Police Department at 547-4595, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and ask for Chas Donaldson.
Television set stolen TREASURE ISLAND – Police are investigating the theft of a 26-inch flat screen television from a room in the Bilmar Resort, 10650 Gulf Blvd. The theft took place Nov. 2 from Room 244. Value of the stolen property was set at $300.
