ST. PETE BEACH – The Florida Department of Transportation’s contractor for the Bayway Bridge replacement project will install beams over the Intracoastal Waterway on Thursday, Nov. 29.
The beams will restrict the overall clearance for boaters to 65 feet.
The work will close the channel for the majority of the day on Nov. 29. Boaters will be unable to navigate under the beams until they are completely erected and braced.
