REDINGTON BEACH – The annual Redington Beaches-Indian Shores Lighted Boat Parade is Sunday, Dec. 20, 6 p.m.

The parade will travel along the Intracoastal Waterway from Madeira Beach north to Indian Shores.

Boaters will rendezvous with their lights off at 5:30 p.m. on the north side of the Tom Stuart Causeway.

After touring through Redington Beaches, North Redington Beach and Redington Shores, the parade will pass under the Park Boulevard Bridge and go north through Indian Shores to The Pub Restaurant, 20025 Gulf Blvd.

An awards ceremony and party will follow at The Pub.

The awards this year, which total close to $22,000 in value, include cash prizes of $300 for first place, $200 for second place and $100 for third place. All owners of participating boats will receive a variety of prizes including products, gifts and gift certificates donated by local businesses.

A skipper’s meeting is Thursday, Dec. 17, 7 p.m., at Indian Shores Town Hall.
