Treasure Island election qualifying end Jan. 2

TREASURE ISLAND – Qualifying ends Jan. 2 for candidates seeking City Commission seats.
The city’s municipal election is Tuesday, March 11.
On the ballot for that election will be candidates running for commissioners in District 2 and 4.
In the event a candidate runoff is required, that election will be Tuesday, April 15.
All elections are between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. in accordance with state law and all districts vote in the Community Center located at One Park Place.
Qualifying papers are available in the office of the city clerk. Voter registration books close on Feb. 11 for the March 11 election and March 17 for the April 15 runoff.
