Mary R. Bailey
BELLEAIR – Mary R. Bailey, age 87, formerly of Belleair, died Friday, Jan. 27, 2006. Mrs. Bailey spent 30-plus years as a teacher and educator in Pinellas County and served as a role model and inspiring example for every student whose life she touched.

She was a loving wife, stepmother, step-grandmother, sister and aunt. Her loving, generous, caring spirit was an inspiration to every person her life touched. She was preceded in death by her husband Malcolm C. Bailey, cherished brothers Glenn, Barney, J. Lee, and R.D. Ratliff, and nephew Ricky Ratliff.

Mrs. Bailey is survived by stepsons, Mackey Bailey and Dana Bailey of Miami, step-granddaughter, Shannon Agor of Pompano Beach, five nieces and four nephews. She also left behind a host of friends whose lives were touched and changed by her long and inspiring life. A memorial service will be in Clearwater at a later date.
