Indian Rocks Beach Library helps job hunters
INDIAN ROCKS BEACH – Indian Rocks Beach Library assists patrons with online job hunting, job applications, forms for obtaining food stamps, unemployment benefits and other financial aid so necessary in the current recession.

The library, at 1507 Bay Palm Blvd., offers these services to patrons signed up to use one of its five public access computers. There is no charge for computer use. The services are provided Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., or by appointment. Call 596-1822.

Looking for Oktoberfet vendors
INDIAN ROCKS BEACH – The ninth annual Oktoberfest is looking for vendors who would like to participate in the one-day event on Saturday, Oct. 17, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., at Kolb Park, across from City Hall on Bay Palm Boulevard between 15th and 16th avenues.

Vendors are sought to sell crafts, food products or inventions. Those interested may download a vendor form online at www.oktoberfestonthebeach.com. For information, call John Todia at 512-9140.
