CLEARWATER – The 2012-2013 Island Estates Women’s Club meetings are set to begin with the first luncheon on Sept. 11 at the Beachcomber Restaurant on Clearwater Beach.
Jolley Trolley CEO Bob Longenecker will be the guest speaker sharing stories about the success of the trolley line and their plans for the future.
The club welcomes back existing members and invites new members to join for social and fund raising functions throughout the year. Meet your neighbors, invite your friends and enjoy getting to know others in your community. The club also funds scholarships for young women and supports other community needs such as Clothes for Kids.
Membership is $15 per year for Island residents and $20 for nonresidents.
Luncheons typically are on the third Tuesday in a different location each month with an informative speaker or something fun like a fashion show.
