Belleair Beach citywide yard sale BELLEAIR BEACH – The city of Belleair Beach will have its annual citywide yard sale Saturday, Nov. 7, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Parking on the streets of Belleair Beach will be allowed during the yard sale hours. For information, call City Hall at 595-4646.
Florida Orchestra guild kicks off season BELLEAIR – The Florida Orchestra support group, North Suncoast Associates, recently started the musical season with a gathering of new and prospective members at the Belleair home of past president Mason Rascher and his wife, Jean. Board members attending included Ron Anderson, Robert Burns, Johanna Guzik, Bill Jonson, Lynn Lawton, Judy McSwine, Robert Perkins, Martha Robertson and Conrad Wieler. The group also hosted its first meeting of the season Oct. 7 at the LaQuinta Inn in Clearwater. The guest speaker was William Abbey, group sales manager of The Florida Orchestra. He discussed ticket sales and presented a fundraising opportunity for groups who sell concert tickets.
Church of the Isles INDIAN ROCKS BEACH – Fall activities have begun at Church of the Isles, 206 23rd Ave. The Fellowship Prayer Breakfast is presented Tuesdays, 8 a.m. The Mary Martha Sewing Group meets Tuesdays, 9 a.m. The COTI Book Group meets third Sundays, 4 p.m.. The Red Hats and Women’s Fellowship Circles also meet monthly.
