INDIAN ROCKS BEACH – The Taste of Indian Rocks Beach is Saturday, Nov. 7, 5 to 10 p.m. in Chic-A-Si Park.

Sponsored by Century 21 Beggins, the event will offer free admission, tastes from more than 20 restaurants, live entertainment and local business booths. Participating restaurants include The Pub, Los Mexicanos, Guppy’s on the Beach, Kooky Coconut, Coasters, Pie Factory, My Place, Stephano’s, Island Fish, Pajano’s Pizza, Le Bouchon Bistro, Crabby Bills, Red Lion, P.J’s Oyster Bar, IRB Sushi, Keegans, Cafe De Paris, Marlin Darlin, Thai Pan Alley and Cafe Soleil.

The IRB Homeowners Association will be selling beer, sponsored by Crabby Bills, and wine. Pinellas Suncoast Fire and Rescue will once again be selling their Firehouse Chili and the Community Food Pantry from the Calvary Episcopal Church will be selling water and soft drinks, donated by Plumlee Realty, with all proceeds going to the food pantry.

Other vendors include Nekton Surf Shop, Delectable Edibles, Island Surf Shop, 420 Boards, and the IRB Welcome Center.

Again this year in conjunction with the Taste of IRB, the Homeowners Association is sponsoring a raffle for a chance to win more than $600 in gift certificates from all of the vendors. Raffle tickets will be on sale for $2 each or three for $5. The drawing will be at the end of the evening. You do not need to be present to win.

Parking is available in the Munce Marketing parking lot on Walsingham Road and Second Street, the vacant lot on First Street by the Fire Department, the empty lot in front of the Holiday Inn and the Post Office parking lot. Look for the signs. Cub Scouts will be directing traffic to the parking areas.

All proceeds will go back into the community through the IRBeach Homeowners Association. Attendees may bring beach chairs or blankets. Dogs and coolers will not be permitted. Restrooms will be available.
