CLEARWATER – The public is requested to vote for Clearwater Beach in USA Today Travel’s Best Florida Beach destination. Clearwater is up against nine other Florida beaches for the media giant’s top slot in the Sunshine State.
Fans can vote in an online poll or tweet @USATodayTravel with #Clearwater and #FLABeachTown.
The 10 Florida destinations competing were chosen by Dr. Beach, Florida International University professor and coastal expert, Stephen P. Leatherman, who has named both Fort De Soto and Caladesi Island No. 1 on his Best Beaches list in recent years. The winning destination will get a feature in USA Today Travel.
