CLEARWATER – Bakery Makel, a Latin bakery, recently opened its doors at 2140 Drew St. in Clearwater.
Owner Kelly McCann has recruited international pastry chef Mabel Weimar. Weimar has been in the bakery business for 26 years and is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. She has the technique and skill to prepare baked items from around the globe.
The bakery offers a full line of pastries, specialty cakes and wedding cakes, including fondant cakes. Also available are many types of breads and a full line of desserts.
Catering and free delivery is also offered to accommodate customers’ needs. The bakery offers daily specials.
