CLEARWATER – An independent panel of judges recently named Ruth Eckerd Hall Inc. the Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Large Sized Nonprofit of the Year.
The announcement was made at the annual awards hosted by the Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort in Clearwater. Zev Buffman, Ruth Eckerd Hall Inc. president and CEO, accepted the award on behalf of the staff.
“Without the support from the city of Clearwater and the commitment of our staff and board of directors, this award would not be possible,” Buffman said in a press release. “I am proud and thrilled to work with such talented people who are dedicated to enriching lives in our community with the best performances and educational programs for the entire Tampa Bay area. We will continue our 30-year tradition of presenting the best in entertainment and educational classes at Ruth Eckerd Hall and the recently completed Capitol Theatre in downtown Clearwater.”
This annual award honors nonprofit organizations that make a difference in the community every day and recognizes organizations that demonstrate strong management structures that help them meet their service goals.
